No returns of medical products are accepted.

Narishige product has passed manufacturing inspection under strict quality control.

This warranty only covers failures which occur during normal use in accordance with the instruction manual owing to defects in materials or workmanship.

Terms and Conditions

1. Warranty Period

   Warranty period is as follows.

   The beginning of warranty period:

   The shipping date from Narishige office, or the delivery date in the warranty registration

   The ending of warranty period:

   The date after two (2) years from the date to commence this service as above

2. Conditions

   1. Narishige product is warranted against manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship during the warranty period. The defective part of the product will be repaired or replaced free of charge.
   2. This warranty applies only to the product and its accessories.
   3. The warranty extends only to the original end user of the product and is not assignable or transferable to any subsequent end user.
   4. The warranty shall commence the warranty term from our shipping date on the following cases;
      • The warranty registration has not been returned to us.
      • The delivery date is not specified in the warranty registration.
   5. The end user shall have no coverage or benefits under the warranty if any of the following conditions are applicable.
      • The contents on the warranty registration has been camouflaged or modified.
      • Warranty service is requested after the warranty period has been passed, even though the defect may have occurred within the warranty period.
      • The product has been subjected to abnormal use or condition including, but not limited to, neglect in accordance with Narishige's instruction manual and the label during installation, operation, and maintenance.
      • Repair or modification has been done to the product by non-authorized persons.
      • Impairment of performance was caused from other devices.
      • The defect or damage was caused by relocation, transportation, dropping, etc.
      • Damage was caused by the natural disaster or inevitable events including, but not limited to, fire, earthquake, wind and flood, lightning, environmental pollution, salt, or improper voltage.
      • Need of replacement part due to normal wear and tear.
   6. Narishige shall not be held the liable for any direct or indirect loss from your use or breakdown. We accept no liability for any loss (which includes loss of business, contracts, goodwill, business opportunity and other similar losses, as well as business interruption).

3. Caution

   1. Warranty period is two (2) years from the date to commence this service whether or not original end user acquired under-warranty service.
   2. Replaced faulty parts or components are to be property of Narishige Group.
   3. This warranty policy is an agreement between Narishige Group and the end user of the warranty terms and conditions.
   4. The delivery date in the warranty registration is accepted within 60 days after the shipping date from Narishige office.
   5. Please complete and send the warranty registration form within 15 days after the delivery date.

4. How to obtain warranty service

   Please contact nearest Narishige International Ltd. office or local representative with brief description of the problem that is sought to be remedied.

   Cost of the transportation such as freight charges, freight insurance, etc. is to be paid by the sender.

For improving the quality and safety of medical devices, it is important to inspect products under our standards. Narishige will provide the maintenance service in order to keep the quality and safety for medical devices through the dealers when the products have been purchased according to the follow process.

For period of 10 years from the date of production

For a period of 10 years from the date of production, Narishige perform maintenance / repair service to keep quality of medical devices. We recommend a periodical inspection every two years after the date of production by certified service technicians in order for the devices to perform precise positioning under the microscope stably and continuously.

Regular maintenance keeps high performance of medical devices during 10 years from the date of production.
